SIR Brit Project Car

SIR Brit car club decided to tackle restoring a car and selling it to benefit a non-profit.  A committee of four members (Dave Folk, Ray Graham, Al Sarhoff, and Vince Anderson) started looking at cars and did a deep dive into two viable cars, a 1970 MGB and a 1966 Triumph Spitfire.  We decided on the MGB, here's some pictures of it from the evaluation:

On April 13th the club officially approved the project, and the car now resides at Dave Folk's house.  Dave will be leading the initial phase on body prep and paint.

Club members will be working on Tuesday mornings starting 4/28 and then one Saturday a month, first one being May 16th.

Stay tuned for further updates, our goal is to have a nice car ready to either auction or raffle off within about a year!
