Busy summer but back at it

Been over a month since an update, and been about that long since work was done.  Body work continues, the doors are now in primer.

The passenger side fender has the "dog leg" welded in place and Dave is starting the filler over the welds:

The hood is in final stages of body filler for the numerous dents to be addressed:

Today was just Dave and Vince working.  Vince decided to start evaluating the engine.  The compression looks reasonable - 130/90/120/130 then we put more motor oil plus some WD40 in cylinder #2 and it increased from 90 to 110.  These are close enough to warrant starting the engine later.  We also checked the oil pressure while spinning on the starter motor (no plugs) - measured 60 psi using mechanical gauge directly on oil port.  We did not register a reading on the electrical gauge on the dash, so this will need some further investigation later.  But the good news is the motor appears to not need any major work.
