Hallelujah, that windshield is done!
Dave and Vince wrestled the windshield for almost three hours today and managed to FINALLY get it installed. All four bolts are correctly positioned and threaded to mount the posts to the body, and the lower rubber strip is firmly in place. We figured we had about 15 man hours so far in this basic task. Took every trick we knew to make it happen (tie down straps, large C clamp, duct tape, wire to pull out and extend rubber flap, etc). Here's the pics:
Now we can move more quickly on the remaining tasks.

June Kind of Slow
Ray and Dave worked June 7th, installed front and rear bumpers, those split rear bumpers sure look nice:
No work day June 14 due to schedule conflicts. Vince worked alone June 21, he got the vent windows and rollup windows installed:
The windshield continues to be a challenge. We may have to resort to professional help to get that sucker installed.

May 17 Update
Dave Mullen and Vince worked today. Front turn signals and luggage rack on trunk installed. Got rubber piece at bottom of windshield in position, needs to be left in place for several days to ease installation. Straps used to hold windshield in place. Bumpers all assembled, need to be installed.

May 10 work day update
Report and pictures from Ray: Al, Cam, Dave F, Dave Mullen, Donnie and Ray worked on the car today. Progress made: top studs and side clips installed, door window rubber installed, front headlight bucket installed, painted wiper arms. Need to order headlight adjuster screw and could really use a better headlight bucket if we find one.

Car Back to Shop
On Monday April 25th we moved the car back to the Boonville shop since paint was done - well, almost done. There were some defects in the paint on the hood, so Dave Folk is retaining the hood to wet sand and paint a second time. He will deliver it to the shop in a week or so.
Here's a picture, the doors and trunk lid line up quite well.
